Oh my, how fast a year goes - especially for the first year of baby’s life! You have your beautiful baby and then in the blink of an eye they are turning one. It’s so amazing the changes that you see over the first year. From being able to sit up on their own, to crawling, to walking - what a miraculous year.

As a Lehigh Valley First Birthday Photographer, I adore being able to photograph the celebration of a baby turning one. You really get to see their little personalities shining through at each and every session. We start the session with playing and photographing them in cute little beds and in bowls, and then we finish the session with (optional) cake smash session where baby gets to play with their first cake!

There’s nothing more fun as a Lehigh Valley Cake Smash Photographer than getting to see how they respond to having cake for the first time! Some babies are more timid and ginger with the cake - others just dive right in and make a big mess! It’s always so fun to see how they will react. Some of them love the cake and want more, and other’s don’t like their hands getting messy.

My First Birthday sessions can take place in my all white studio or in an outdoor setting from April through October. My studio sessions don’t have a ‘theme’ - my theme is soft, simple, sweet and timeless. I want my images to be focused on your perfect little baby and not get lost in brightly colored and distracting ‘stuff;. Your baby IS enough. I photograph all their precious details like chubby thighs, sweet baby feet, and their little hands touching the cake. For an outdoor session, I can bring along my vintage high chair or we can put baby right on the ground.

Wherever we have the session, I will guarantee we will get some amazing images of your little one being the most adorable little person in the world.

My First Birthday sessions are generally reserved 3+ months in advance to guarantee availability. If you haven’t reserved me ahead of time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch as I may have had a cancelation or can squeeze you in.
